Join the SBA for another CPD event with an in-person lunch and learn with Tyler Hatch on Digital Evidence and Computer Forensics.

Tyler was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Following a 6-year legal career that included representing clients in legal proceedings in Small Claims, Supreme Court and a variety of administrative tribunals in BC, Tyler found his way into the fascinating world of digital forensics. Tyler is the Founder and lead digital forensics examiner of DFI Forensics, a Vancouver-based digital forensics and incident response firm that he launched in 2018. He has over five years of experience as a certified computer and mobile forensics examiner, and holds several industry-recognized certifications.

Tyler’s mission is to help clients recover, analyze, and present electronic evidence in various contexts, such as court proceedings involving IP theft, employment disputes, and criminal matters.

Digital forensics and digital evidence is an increasingly common reality for many litigation and criminal matters.  This presentation will serve as an introduction to these topics and serve as an overview of how digital sources of evidence can help you build a stronger case and learn the facts from people’s use of computers, cell phones and all things digital.

This event will be in-person so please join us at the Surrey Courthouse located at 14340 57 Ave, Surrey, BC V3X 3A2. Please register for the event so that we can have official numbers. While there is no cost for this event, if you are not an SBA Member or your membership has lapsed, we ask that you consider becoming a current member
.  This event will qualify for one hour of CPD credit.
