SBA Young Lawyers Event

  • Thursday, December 03, 2015
  • 6:00 PM
  • Big Ridge Brewing Co.

Dear Young Lawyers of Surrey,

Come one, come all for a cheery pint of your favorite (or flavor of the month) beer with some local colleagues.

This is your monthly reminder that the final Young Lawyers (“young” being lawyers under 10 years call) networking event of the year is coming up this Thursday, December 3, 2015 starting at 6:00 p.m. and will be held “down south” at Big Ridge Brewing Co. (5580 152 St in Surrey, B.C.).

There is no need to R.S.V.P. for this event as everyone is welcome to join us at their convenience.

Have no fear if you cannot make this networking event because we will have many more…actually we will have one on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at one of the many local venues in the Surrey area (the location choice will be announced with notice prior to the next event).  Next year we plan to roll out a number of events specifically geared toward the Young Lawyers, with the hopes of collaborating with neighboring bar associations for various networking, educational and giving back to the community events.  We are excited to give another reason for our rapidly growing young bar to come together under a shared banner.

As I am sure some of your colleagues can tell you from past monthly gatherings, this is a great event to meet some of your fellow local lawyers and talk shop, politics, golf or whatever people watching observations the day may have revealed.

The SBA is hands down, the most fun Bar Association and we put any other Bar Association to the challenge!  We are dedicated to fostering collegiality among Surrey lawyers and providing network opportunities by hosting various social events (including our Winter and Spring Minglers, Annual Golf Tournament, and our Annual Bench and Bar Dinner), encouraging the education and professional development of our members, enhancing the integrity of the profession locally, and giving back to the community.  We are your local Bar Association and your voice on local issues.

If you have any questions, please contact Daniel or Manjot K. Cheema:

If you no longer wish to be included in the Young Lawyers email list, please respond by email to the writer at your earliest convenience.

I look forward to seeing you all there!
